Cuts and Abrasions

Children are naturally curious and will play with objects that are sharp, dangerous and can trap their hands, feet or head. Knives, sharp utensils and other dangerous objects need to be kept up high and out of reach of young children.

Folding furniture (prams, ironing boards etc.) can be a trapping hazard and all furniture should be checked for sharp corners and sharp protruding parts.
